Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell Isolated Mode Redistributable Package Downlo
Visual Studio 2010 Shell (Isolated) Redistributable Package The Visual Studio 2010 Shell (Isolated) Redistributable Package contains the runtime binaries that are required to deploy an application that is based on the Visual Studio 2010 Shell (Isolated). The Visual Studio Shell (isolated mode) provides a foundation on which you can build your own custom-branded tools environment that runs side by side with Visual Studio. This redistributable package contains the runtime binaries needed to deploy your Visual Studio 2008 Shell (integrated mode) based application.
The Visual Studio Shell enables Visual Studio Partners to build tools and applications on top of the Visual Studio IDE. Using integrated mode, you can release a Visual Studio extension for use by customers who have not installed Visual Studio. In isolated mode, you can release a custom application that makes use of a subset of Visual Studio IDE features. The Visual Studio Shell is available for Visual Studio 2015, Visual Studio 2013, Visual Studio 2012, and Visual Studio 2010. It is not available for Visual Studio 2017.
